DOCUMENTARY

I began my career in my hometown of Montreal, directing and researching youth documentaries for public broadcaster TFO with producer Ina Fichman. I then directed the feature doc LOST RIVERS, produced with Catbird Productions, which explores our evolving relationship with water in urban environments. Winner of the Best Canadian Feature Award at Planet in Focus, the film was broadcast internationally and screened at festivals around the world.

In the UK, I’ve been an edit producer for indies like Blink Films, Spun Gold, and Tuesday’s Child. Credits include SECRETS OF NOAH’S ARK (PBS/Channel 4), SEAN CONWAY: ON THE EDGE (Discovery), SECRETS (Smithsonian), GREAT CANAL JOURNEYS (Channel 4), and WE’LL MEET AGAIN (PBS). I also co-produced and directed POMPEII’S PEOPLE (ITV/CBC) with Two Four.

In recent years, I’ve taken on story editing and creative producing roles on specialist factual and international co-productions. With Ideacom International, I developed, wrote, and directed LITTLE SAPIENS (CBC), imagining childhood in prehistoric times.

With Tigerlily Two, I produced and directed the youth documentary I WON’T STAND FOR IT (CBBC), about a young Indigenous activist fighting for racial and climate justice in Winnipeg. The film received the Sandford St Martin Youth Audience Award. It was an RTS Scotland nominee and Prix Jeunesse finalist, and was presented in multiple children’s and environmental film festivals globally.
